123ZING Drums with heads

The 123ZING methodology uses various drums, including a number of hand drums and bongos in different sizes. Drums are characterized by the shell, also known as the resonating cavity, and the stretched membrane over the top and possibly the bottom. The stretched membrane can be made from either natural or synthetic materials. By striking, plucking, or rubbing the membrane with sticks or hands, various sounds can be produced.
